She is a philanthropist and a professional mediator passionate to be involved (soul, mind and body) to eradicate poverty, social and economic injustice and under-development in the Kissi Bendu Community. Empowering the community; educationally, socially and economically through the strategy of working on a variety of projects. Mrs. Koroma was part of the Sierra Leone peace-building process representing her local community-Kissi Bendu at the then Sierra Leone Government and the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) “Peace Talks in Lome, Togo”. Having seen the suffering and mayhems of her people and the Kissi Bendu Community she thought it fit to be part of the peace building process that could end the decade-long miseries of innocent lives, damage to infrastructure leading to further dandification   into underdevelopment and poverty in Sierra Leone as a whole and in the Kissi Bendu Community in particular. She has the notion that the task of building peace cannot be challenged by individualistic thinking but through communal action and selflessness.

She is a devoted Christian and a gospel singer who has devoted most of her life in charity work, community development and peace building. Her aim is to see that Kissi Bendu regain it glorious height by empowering the local inhabitants and the community to attain food security, good health, education, shelter and development.  She has travelled extensively and now lives in Spain with her husband and daughter.
