The future of any nation is determinded by the state of its children, their education, opportunities and experiences. Consideing these and the circumstances relataed to the years of the civil war
in the country, KIBEC thought it well to lay a secured foundation for the children of the
Kissi Bendu Community.
Considering these and the circumstances relating to the long years of civil wars both in our beloved land (Sierra Leone) and neighboring Liberia, KIBEC was created by the sole initiative of Princess Kumba Foryoh-Koroma with the support of John Marlique Koroma both of whom are in Basque Country in northern Spain, With foresight, and a willingness on the part of our people to face up to the vast responsibility which history has visibly placed upon our community, the difficulties Kissi Bendu is going through as a post-war community can and will be overcome.

Let's come together and give these children a brighter future. Let what we do for them today be a reference for them in the futre that they may inturn help other children.
